Ritual Theater & Performance Art Workshop

The Archetype of the Voyager calls us to enter uncharted waters. When old structures collapse and familiar maps no longer guide us, there is a need to become explorers of new possibilities and become the mapmakers of the future.

Voices of the sea is an immersive performance and Ritual Theater workshop about a crew of sailors navigating the great sea into the deep unknown.

The Crew is formed in response to a reality that feels increasingly unstable: timelines overlap, realities collide, identities fragment, and meaning appears scattered. In this world, survival depends not on control, but on collaboration, adaptability, and radical cooperation across differences - echoing historical sailor communities who often formed egalitarian, self-governed societies beyond dominant systems of power.

The sea has always been a place of mystery — a threshold between what we know and what lies beyond. It is a place where familiar coordinates disappear and where we are invited to listen differently.

Through Ritual Theatre, movement, dance, voice, sound, music and storytelling, we will explore the sea as a space of encounter - with the unknown, with one another, and with those voices that emerge when we allow ourselves to move beyond what is familiar.

Along the journey we may encounter Pirates, Whales, creatures of the sea, Mermaids, Water Priestesses, treasures and the Sea itself as the primordial life force from which all life emerged. These figures belong to the realm of archetype — universal forces that appear throughout human imagination, mythology, dreams and stories, and that continue to move through us today.

In Celtic traditions, springs, wells, rivers and lakes were places of encounter with the Otherworld. Sacred wells were associated with healing, wisdom, sovereignty and the feminine powers of the land. Their guardians were often female figures who belonged to the territory between the visible and the invisible. Further out, this threshold becomes the sea.

Here we encounter the Mermaid Priestess - a being between worlds, carrying the mysteries of the feminine waters: sexuality, birth, transformation and creation. She belongs to the deep places of the imagination, where something known and something unknown meet.

Voices of the Sea is an immersive Ritual Theatre and performance workshop for artists, creative souls, explorers and map makers who want to enter this territory together. Rather than approaching these archetypes intellectually, we will encounter them through the body, through improvisation, ritual, image, sound and collective creation. We will listen for what wants to emerge and allow the material to find its own form.

The sea becomes both our landscape and our teacher - a place of constant movement, depth and transformation.

Performance Art & Ritual

Ritual Theatre is a transformative approach to performance that reconnects with the ancient roots of theatre, where ritual, storytelling, and embodied expression become pathways for authentic expression, connection, and transformation. Rooted in the teachings of my teachers Isis Indriya, the Academy of Oracle Arts, and Eve Bradford, through many years of Improvisation Theater and ImprovMusical, this practice explores ritual as a living creative process - a dialogue between the inner world, the body, imagination, nature, and the unseen realms.

This weekend workshop offers an experiential and exploratory approach to Ritual Theatre, inviting participants to discover performance as a process of listening, sensing, and creation rather than entertainment. Through movement, sound, singing, musical elements, ritual, improvisation, and storytelling, participants explore how to become vessels for a story, archetype, or myth to emerge through them - allowing creativity to unfold through presence, intuition, and embodied expression.
