The Hathorian Dream Sanctuary
PER AA - The Great House - The Lunar Temple of Dendera
☆
The ancient Egyptians understood dreams as gateways into a deeper reality. Their word for dream, rswt, means “to awaken,” revealing a profound understanding that true seeing begins when the physical senses come to rest. Dreams were not viewed as fantasies of the sleeping mind, but as experiences of awakening within sleep itself.
☆
In ancient Egypt, dreams were sacred travel. Trained dreamers entered sleep with intention, receiving guidance, healing, and insight beyond ordinary awareness. Consciousness was believed to leave the body, moving through symbolic realms beyond time and space. For the Egyptians, initiation continued in dreams—where the soul learns to travel, perceive, and remember itself beyond the physical world.
☆
The Temple of Hathor (Het-Heru) was known as the Per Aa, the Great House, a spiritual sanctuary beyond the limitations of ordinary perception. Here, the dreamer crossed the threshold between the visible and invisible worlds, entering a living temple of consciousness where the Neteru, ancestors, and higher aspects of the soul could be encountered.
☆
Within this living temple current, the Seven Hathors were invoked as the Seven Divine Musicians, attendants of fate and joy, who sing the unfolding of human destiny. Alongside them, the stellar field of the Seba-en-Sah—the Pleiades—was regarded as a celestial gathering of luminous ones, a star-cluster of remembrance whose rhythms were mirrored in temple rite and seasonal knowing. Their presence was felt as subtle transmission—woven through chant, rhythm, and sacred alignment—guiding the inner attunement of those who entered the dream gates of Dendera.
☆
The Dream Sanctuary emerges from this lineage as a living ritual space where art, sound, and consciousness meet. Through voice, movement, sacred rhythm, and dream practice, participants enter a field of resonance in which perception shifts and inner remembrance awakens.
☆
Ancient temple tradition reflects a cosmos held in one continuous song of becoming. A hymn from Dendera preserves this knowing: “The sky and the stars make music with you. The sun and moon praise you. The Neteru sing to you.”
☆
In this field, sound becomes a threshold. Breath, tone, and rhythm open the body as an instrument of perception, guided by Djehuti, lord of divine speech, and Hathor, mistress of music and radiant harmony. Sound is not performance, but alignment—an attuning of the human vessel to the order of Ma’at.

With the Dream Sanctuary, Annette creates a place to come together and be. Here she imparts her clear knowledge directly. Under her guidance, people of all denominations meet in a benevolent and supportive way in the shared experience of art, music and breathing together. In this shared space, there is room to lovingly face fear and everything that shows itself. Experiencing the power of one's own dreams, sharing them, deciphering them together and combining them into one big one is strengthening, healing and inspiring.

Thank you Annette for this beautiful and profound experience of the Dream Sanctuary. Spending these two days and nights in a (very special) church has rooted me in and opened me up to something i cannot describe yet. Everything is still sinking in and it doesn't yet feel easy to find words for it but i will try to grasp what i can say right now. I felt at home in the field you opened and we all cocreated together. I loved feeling simultaneously guided and free in the whole experience, feeling structure and enough space for inner and outer unfolding. Hearing the insights and impulses from you and everyone else in the group gave me lots of inspiration and knocked on doors inside. I loved how so many things came together. I loved the playfulness at times while having this knowing of how meaningful all of it is. Thank you so much for bringing us together in this space. For letting deep wisdom and beauty come through and magic unfold. Thank you for reminding me that each and everyone of us is a portal of its own, that we are equally important, that we are interwoven.
