Buntkua Yari Maku

Buntkua is a native descendant of the Muisca people, the People of the Water, who have been guardians of their ancestral territory in the Andean-Amazonian ecosystem of Colombia for thousands of years—a region recognized as the womb of the Divine Mother Earth.

He is the founder and leader of Weta FoWe, a liberated territory created to continue the Muisca people’s journey of returning to their origin. Since 2019, he has served as the Indigenous Governor within the Eastern Muisca Council. With over 20 years of deep cultural study and guidance from wise elders of the Arhuaco, Kogui, and Wiwa peoples of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, and other Amazonian-Andean communities, Buntkua is recognized as a traditional healer, guardian of the Golden Water Altar, and a nkeeper of native wisdom.

He comes with the message of his elders, with the medicine of the plants, and the medicine of the seed of this sacred prayer. Water Offering Ceremony
