The Lion’s Gate is traditionally celebrated around 8/8, when the Sun moves through Leo and the rising of Sirius, the Spiritual Sun, is honored as a symbol of abundance, renewal, divine wisdom, and the awakening of higher consciousness. It is a powerful moment to connect with our intentions, open our hearts, and align with the deepest expression of our soul’s purpose.

In the wisdom of ancient Kemet, Sirius was associated with Auset (Isis), the Great Mother, while Orion was connected with Ausar (Osiris), the divine principle of resurrection and eternal life. Their celestial presence in the heavens reflects the sacred union of feminine and masculine forces - the reunion of Auset and Ausar beyond earthly limitations.
