Hieroglyphic Dreaming

Hieroglyphic Dreaming - AKH · BA · KA · SAHU ·
Words of Power for Dreamwork, Divination & Inner Guidance

Inspired by ‘Words of Power’ by Normandi Ellis

In ancient Egypt, symbols and words were believed to hold living power. These sacred signs—called Medju Neter—were more than writing; they were a spiritual language used to connect with the soul, the ancestors, and the unseen world. Dreams were especially important. They were seen as a bridge between everyday life and deeper wisdom.

The ancient Egyptians practiced dream interpretation, dream incubation, and ritual sleep to receive guidance and insight. To have a clear and truthful dream was considered a spiritual skill, known as

ir-ma’a, meaning “true vision.”

This 4-week online course invites you to rediscover dreaming as a meaningful and intuitive practice. You will learn how to remember and understand your dreams, work with symbolic imagery, and explore ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs as tools for insight and self-connection.

Each week, we will gently explore dream practices alongside selected hieroglyphs—using their imagery, sound, and meaning to support dream incubation, reflection, and inner guidance. No prior knowledge of Egyptology or dreamwork is needed—just curiosity and openness.

This course is for anyone interested in dreams, symbolism, spiritual growth, and ancient wisdom, offering simple yet powerful ways to listen to your dreams and reconnect with your inner voice.
